Hand Dyed In Our Colour Vats, With Organic Plant Based Indigo Made From the Leaves of the Indigo Plant, Using the Ancient Old Javanese Palangi & Tritik Tie Dye Teqhniques,To Create Flower Design Motifs.
This Design Piece Had Been Streamed & Handwashed for Softness & Pre-Shrinking So Ready to Use. W90cm x L130 cm (inclusive of 3 cm tassle each side).
*Pictures were taken in natural light & this item is handwoven & hand dyed with different shades of indigo color, which may show different hues of blues depending on amount of light & location* Note: **The item is woven with both warp yarns (which runs longitudinally) & weft yarn (that crosses it). To avoid that the warp yarn get torn or broken during weaving, the weaver had to strengthen the yarns with starch, such as rice flour or potato flour. The result is a hardening of the fabric, but will get softer after using or washing a few times. Hand-washing is highly recommended.
To Care: 1. To prevent future color bleeding, suggest adding 2-3 table spoons of table salt in warm water for first time washing. 2. Wring the fabric gently. 3. Air dry.
