Its a Slow-Made, Hand-Made, Original Tuban Tenun Gedog (Woven Two Color Thread Cloth). Handmade From Only the Best Hand Picked Kapok Lawa (Brown Cotton) Fibre Balls, Native Specific to Tuban, East Java. HandSpun Onto Spools, Using Old Bicycle Rims, Handwoven on a Primitive Teak Kemplongan.

Then Colored In Our Color Vats, Using Natural Organic Vegetable Dark Red Dye (Mengkuda) from the Leaves of the Morinda Citrifolia & Indigo from the Leaves of the Indigo Plant to Create Violet & Using The Ancient Old Indonesian Pelangi Tie Dye Technique To Create The Motif Designs.

Violet The Color Most often Associated with Imagination & Inspiration. Violet is a Combination of Blue & Red. Red is a Focusing, Dynamic & Active Energy While Blue is Cooling, Calming & Expansive. Red Brings Practicality to the Undirected Expansiveness of the Blue & Allows More Creative Energy to Emerge.

Our Designs Are Handwoven & Hand Dyed So No Two Pieces Are EverThe Same, An Individual Uniqueness. This Design Piece Had been Streamed & Handwashed for Softness & Pre-Shrinking, So Is Ready to Use.

* Note: **The item is woven with both warp yarns (which runs longitudinally) & weft yarn (that crosses it). To avoid the warp yarn from getting torn or broken during weaving, the weaver strengthen the yarns with starch, rice-or potato flour. The result is a hardening of the fabric, but will get softer after using or washing a few times. Hand-washing is highly recommended.

To Care: 1. To prevent future color bleeding, we suggest adding 2-3 table spoons of table salt in warm water for first time washing. 2. Wring the fabric gently. 3. Air dry.
